Spiritual Nourishment

 It Is Written. . . .John 3:31-34

31"The one who comes from above is above all; the one who is from the earth belongs to the earth, and speaks as one from the earth. The one who comes from heaven is above all. 32He testifies to what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony. 33The man who has accepted it has certified that God is truthful. 34For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God[a] gives the Spirit without limit.

One result of a person's faith in Jesus as Savior is to be on a journey of faith.
This involves developing one's faith along the way.
Other words that describe this process include growing and maturing.
This portion of our website is to provide avenues to facilitate this development.
Under the OT relationship with God, the Jewish people learned from God that
not only did they need physical nourishment but also spiritual.
In Deuteronomy 8:1-3, the people learned that during their 40 years in the wilderness
not only would they need to be fed physically
but need to feed upon God's word to grow spiritually or faith wise.
Jesus restated this principle in Matthew 4:1-4 with His temptation in the wilderness.
He responded to the Devil's first temptation with the response that a person
not only must feed upon physical bread to be nourished, but,
also on every word that comes from God (v.4).
